Autonomous literacy learners: sustainable results

An innovative approach for 1st and 2nd language literacy development

Autonomous Literacy Learners - Sustainable Results (ALL-SR) aimed to investigate the potential of non-directive coaching to help adults develop and sustain the literacy and language skills they need in daily life, including work.

Website on learner autonomy

On the website itta.uva.nl/learnerautonomy one can find guidance on how to help adult literacy and language learners develop the confidence and personal learning strategies they need to take charge of their own learning.

The website contains information about the aims of the research, the research questions, the way the approach was tested, the tools we used and descriptions of the pilots and their results in 20 lessons learned.

ALL-SR was funded by Erasmus+ and ran from October 2014 to September 2016.
